I am new to this site. My name is Liz McPherson Howard. I feel so honored to be a part of this community of genealogists!! I will enjoy learning about you and my ancestry. I got into ancestry 12 or so years ago because of my old McPherson and Langston photos needed a home for generations. For the McPherson's, Macpherson's out there~~~ Earle Steele MacPherson, the inventor of the car struts, was my great uncle. My 5th paternal ggf was William McPherson the immigrant, I believe, but am still looking for concrete evidence.
I would be interested in starting a group called the descendants of William McPherson, B. 1698....immigrated to the American Colonies from Scotland. He had many children and I am sure there are some great stories!
So, I got on Ancestry, added 23 and me plus FTdna. I did this to study my dna from these various sites. Now I am connected to WikiTree!! So glad to be here, too!
About me, Art/writing are some of my passions too and I taught arts for a number of years. I look for the arts in my genealogy and love to make visual art of all kinds plus write a poem or description to go with it.
