 It's a Bit Confusing to be Honest. However, She Is the Only One Directly Related to Me On This List.

I Still Don't Quite Understand the Difference Between Degrees and Connections. I Also Do Not Know How to List People Individually to Show How Many Degrees Separate Me From Another Person.

Lemuel Shattuck,

My 9th great grandparents are also direct ancestors of Lemuel.  I, through their daughter, Susanna, and he through their son, John.  Lemuel is my 5th cousin, 6 times removed.

I have been doing lots of research this week on Shattuck, but have not yet had enough time to apply it to WikiTree yet.  My goal is to attach my family line to this family - probably need to fill in several generations.  It is done in ancestry.com, just need to apply it to Wikitree.  I have over 27K people in my ancestry.com tree and I had only one Shattuck.  Working on the NEGHS challenge has added generations of Shattucks to my tree.  I found I need the structure of Ancestry to contribute with confidence to WikiTree.

I hope to contribute additional information to WikiTree.  I have learned so much.  My respect and admiration for all the work the collaborators have done is just bursting.  You rock!!! Thank you for all you do.
