How to search for a specific person within gedcompare?

I see no way to search for a specific ancestor in my gedcompare. I have been scrolling through the pages whenever I am tracking a family line where last names change.

I think you are right about that and that's too bad. You might go to the tree that you used to create the gedcom and see who is close to the ancestor you're looking for. that might give you a hint if you are close...

Also, you can click 'Name' and it will alphabatize the list, another click will reverse it and another click puts is back.

alas, no search feature that I've found either
