Lauren Millerd is a Wonderful WikiTreer

Years ago, I photographed the St. Boniface Oblate Fathers' Cemetery and made profiles for everyone buried there. But then I hit a dead end, because I couldn't find family connections for any of them!

Recently, however, my Family Activity Feed is full of edits to these profiles, because Lauren is quickly finding the parents of many of them! I love seeing this little project of mine get integrated into the big tree.

So thank you, Lauren, for shrinking my Unconnected list and adding so many connections to our big tree! smiley

This is why I love WikiTree so much.  It is so satisfying to see your own hard work benefiting others and for them to expand on what you started. It motivates me to work on some of the profiles that I manage.

Liander you did quite a feat yourself by profiling a whole cemetary! but the helper that appeared, Lauren Millerd,  is putting the topping on the cake by interconnecting everyone to the wikitree! Good Job to the two of you!

Thanks, Beth! I love researching all the people in a cemetery. That one was pretty easy to do what I did, because the tombstones were all the same and all had the name, death date, and age on them, giving me plenty to make a profile with. But then it was frustrating because none of them married and had kids (because it's a cemetery full of priests) and I couldn't find anything linking them to parents! I much prefer the cemeteries where I can connect everyone to each other. laugh

A Cemetary of priests! that explains why no family/descendents... Glad you have help finding the priests parents

Lauren, this is YOUR personalized WW poem:

Lauren Millerd, WikiTreer so fine,

Her passion for genealogy doth shine,

She helps connect the branches of family trees,

With expertise and kindness that truly frees.

Inspires others to join in,

To uncover stories from the past,

And preserve legacies that forever will last.

To WikiTree, a community so dear,

And thank her for all she does here.
