how do I add Jane Beer to her father George.

Question

Jane Beer (Beer-2509) was the daughter of George Beer. (Beer-1535).  George was married twice, and his second wife was much younger than him, and he married again late in life, so the children from his second marriage are more than 40 years younger than his first family.  I can attach Jane to her mother, but I keep getting an error message with her father when I say save anyway. What do I do?

Are you trying to attach Jane to her father, or George to Jane?
