James Adams was featured on the TV episode re: Jon Cryer. This profile has long had a second attached wife, Priscilla Shore, and bio states she was a widow. (Her profile here has her as a maiden, and marked as not-a-match to the widow Priscilla Shore.) Other profiles say that the maiden Priscilla Shore married his son James Jr., not James Sr. I'm inclined to believe the latter, but can anyone help review this and let us know your thoughts? ~ Deb

I would be very careful researching someone called James Adams. It is a very popular name. I noticed most of the references are from other genealogy companies - Geni, Ancestry etc. Unless you have a definite citation, it must not be provided as a fact.

As common as John Smith, I would say! I am married to James Adams. A different James Adams with a birthdate 1 year and 1 day different lives a few miles from us, I will guess that the population from our place to his is about 10,000 - what are the odds of finding a match. Researching Adams can be an ordeal.
