Adding DNA test information

Hello,

I have autosomal DNA test results for both myself (Peter McKenna (McKenna-759) and my father (McKenna-1407), as well as a Big Y test for myself.

I have added in DNA test results for myself sometime ago, but it does not look like I have added my fathers test results. Is there any reason that I would not be able to do that?

Peter, if your father is living then that is ABSOLUTELY the reason you can't add his DNA results.  For privacy concerns, WikiTree only allows a person to enter DNA test results for themselves and any non-living people whose profiles they manage.

If your father is living then he can join WikiTree and enter his DNA test result himself.  If he is not interested in participating, he can make you manager of his profile and never do another thing here.

Peter, to do what Gaile suggested, as a manager, go to his profile and click on the "Edit" tab. Scroll down to just before the "Enter text" (for the bio) section and on the left side, you will see a field that says "Email Address:". Just enter the email address he uses in this field and then save the profile.  He will then be sent an invitation to join Wikitree. Then follow what Gaile said.
