Correcting A Common Error Morris Ancestry Pasquotank, North Carolina

This post is to alert those with Quaker Morris ancestry in Pasquotank, North Carolina that a common error (one I introduced to WT four years ago) has now been corrected.

It is commonly seen that Thomas Morris (1766-1819) married his sister-in-law Ann Henley after the death of his first wife Lucretia Henley after the birth of their last son in December  1802. Further research in various parts of Hinshaw's encyclopedia reveals (through assembling various bits of info) that the Thomas Morris which Ann Henley married in 1807 was not her brother-in-law but rather a different Thomas Morris (son of Mordecai Morris and Abigail Overman). The appropriate detachments have been made, citations are given for known information. I am presently determining if the Thomas son of Mordecai is presently in WikiTree.

Edit: Ann Henley is now attached to the proper Thomas Morris but nothing is known of her after this (research note on possible disownment) added to profile.
