The pedigree is in an odd mixture of Latin and English with lots of abbreviations. The version in the Gregory book is clearer than the one it is based on in Thoroton's Nottinghamshire, which is shown on George Alton's profile, where the signs for marriages are tiny dashes.
Both say the same: Johan.Gregory de Broughton Sulney (John Gregory of Broughton Sulney) married Alicia (Alice). They were the parents of Will. Gregory ald. de Nott Ob.1650 (William Gregory alderman of Nottingham died 1650), who married Ann fil. Adae Jackson (Ann daughter of Adam Jackson). Their son was Joh. Gregorie de Nott. Gen. ob. 1654 (John Gregorie of Nottingham, gentleman, died 1654).
John. Alton de Nott. medicus ob. 1629 (John Alton of Nottingham, physician, died 1629) married Eliz. fil … Brightman (Elizabeth daughter of … Brightman). They were parents of Geo Alton ob. 1620 (George Alton died 1620), who married Maria fil and cohaer (Mary daughter and co-heiress [of John Kyme]), parents of Eliz. fil & cohaer aet 62, 1675 (Elizabeth daughter and co-heiress, aged 62 in 1675). Elizabeth married John Gregorie above.
