23andMe continues to get to finer details within a country (this time for Spain & Portugal) with their ethnicity prediction. How does this help you?

The ethnicity prediction from 23andMe is by chromosome and start/end position. It's automatically imported into our app by just clicking on a card (we organize all work/information in cards).

Once you have a triangulated group (which again is found by doing all necessary comparisons between your DNA matches automatically) it will display the ethnicity prediction in the segment view at the top right corner.

This gives you another hint to identify the common ancestor (CA), to narrow down where to look for records that support this prediction.

Try our app for free by going to the Your DNA family website and see what new insights you will gain from our app!
