Why are MyHeritage and LivingDNA not included in the tests on the right side of profile pages?

On the right hand side of profile pages, is

"

DNA
No known carriers of <profile person's name>'s mitochondrial DNA have taken an mtDNA test. No close relatives have taken a 23andMe, AncestryDNA, or Family Tree DNA "Family Finder" test.

"

As they are also included in the table at

https://isogg.org/wiki/Autosomal_DNA_testing_comparison_chart

why are MyHeritage and LivingDNA tests not also included in the reference to the available autosomal DNA tests, in the DNA  section on the profile pages, where reference is made to "No close relatives have taken a <list of available test companies for autosomal DNA testing> test"?

Also, could a link to the ISOGG comparison table wiki page, be included at the end of the DNA section, on the profile pages (something like "See https://isogg.org/wiki/Autosomal_DNA_testing_comparison_chart for more information about these autosomal DNA tests")?

Thank you in anticipation.

I note also, that LivingDNA is not included on the web page at

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Autosomal_DNA_Tests

Information about the "Big 5" testing companies, including LivingDNA, is included at

https://isogg.org/wiki/Autosomal_DNA_testing_comparison_chart

and, in the absence of the inclusion of LivingDNA, by Wikitree, perhaps, a  link to the above ISOGG wiki page, would be appropriate to be included on the web page at

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Autosomal_DNA_Tests

.
A question arises, with Wikitree being formally made aware of the inclusion of LivingDNA on the web page at

https://isogg.org/wiki/Autosomal_DNA_testing_comparison_chart

but continuing to exclude it from

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Autosomal_DNA_Tests

and the exclusion of MyHeritage DNA and LivingDNA , as cited in the original post above; "in the reference to the available autosomal DNA tests, in the DNA  section on the profile pages, where reference is made to "No close relatives have taken a <list of available test companies for autosomal DNA testing> test" " regarding manipulating or influencing the market of autosomal DNA testing companies, and, now, whether it is intentional.

Bret,  I do believe that the statement you are referring to was created when there were only three main players in the consumer DNA market.  There are similar statements for Y-DNA, MtDNA and AuDNA that are seen depending upon what tests may have been taken.

Since there are now several more companies involved for Autosomal (Au) DNA, and Ancestry no longer does Y- or Mt DNA, if these are re-worked, I would recommend not mentioning any company. There are just too many to mention now.  I have tests from Ancestry, FT DNA, My Heritage, 23 and Me and I'll probably have a few more when all is said and done.

Something like this might work well ...

DNA
No known carriers of Xxxxxx's Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA have taken yDNA or mtDNA tests. No close relatives have taken a Autosomal (Au) DNA test.

Hope this helps...

It appears both tests are listed on your profile Bret.

The best way to compare with others is to also upload your results to GEDmatch https://app.gedmatch.com/select.php Then add your GEDmatch ID back to Wikitree.

I was not asking about my profile.

In the example above, which is obviously for a female, as it refers to the mtdna test, it explicitly states that no relative of the subject has taken any applicable dna test.

Where a relative has taken a test, as is shown on my profile, the test, including MyHeritage and LivingDNA, are shown.

But, where no blood  relative has taken an autosomal DNA test, the MyHeritage and LivingDNA tests, as available tests, are omitted.

THAT omission, is what I was and am querying.
Honestly, it might just be that the specific wording hasn't been updated since MyHeritage DNA and LivingDNA started (2016).
Perhaps, the web application developer(s) could be encouraged to update and enhance the displayed wording on the profile pages, as suggested in my original post?
