Request for help with a table on a profile [closed]

Question

I need help formatting a table I have started on a profile. The current construction of the table is horizontal rather than vertical which is how I want it to be. Can anybody offer advice as to parameters for making a table vertical rather than horizontal. This profile is for a living Australian actor so there are only two people on the trusted list. if you would like to help me, tell me your email and I will add you to the trusted list so as to be able to edit the table in question.

The concept of a table being vertical or horizontal isn't clear to me. As I see it a table consists of rows and columns. So I'm not sure what problem you are trying to solve.

I think I can best explain what I mean in terms of Point of View (POV). When I look at the table on the profile it flows from left to right across the screen; rather then from top to bottom in the Linear plane. Most of the tables I see are vertically constructed so as to enable scrolling of the screen to view the table. This is not how it is with a horizontal table as one is looking at the screen.

Rob; what I really mean is that there should only be three columns of normal size from left to right of screen. Currently the columns are extra extra wide and therefore fall off the screen edge as to be unviewable. These columns need to be shrunk to normal size.

I don’t think there are any parameters that would do what you want. You would have to pretty much start over and create the table the other way around. I.e. what you have as rows should be columnns.

Rob, it is my understanding that Columns are vertical by design. You are saying I should use Rows?? This seems antithetical to my purpose. Aren't rows horizontal by design??

Ah. It sounds like your table is really wide. I'm not sure why that would happen - they are usually constrained to the width of the bio. Can you put a copy of the table in an FSP so I can see it?

best thing to do would be to see what formatting is used on a profile table you like. Click edit to see formatting and copy it. This profile works for me if this is what you want
