Start by researching Robert L. Ripley's genealogy (i.e., his documented family connections to yourself and others).

Then, if any of those others has taken a DNA test, you can compare your results with theirs on the relevant web site (i.e., GEDmatch for autosomal tests; MitoYDNA for Y-DNA or mtDNA tests). Comparison would be aided by asking (a) genealogically-connected male Ripley(s) to take a Y-DNA test.

If your test results match, you can indicate genealogical connections on WikiTree as DNA-confirmed.
