Maria Martin was born in Granada, Spain, why in her birth certificate shows her Ethnicity's American?

I would think this is a computer error with the extraction over at FamilySearch. Considering there's no photo it's hard what's going on and what the computer "saw". If you look at the indexing batch, it shows all of the results as being American which is unlikely, even if you consider areas of America that used to be under Spanish control.

When I did the one to one comparison at GEDmatch I change the minimum size segment from 7 to 3 cM, I did match most of the descendants of Martin-4368 (Capt. Joseph Martin) I started to think that somehow my Martin’s are from the same line. Thank you for your help Dina!
