David, I will remind you of the Y DNA as posted: Our Martin Family is YDNA tested at familytreedna.com and Is group 17 of the Martin Project, see image. William Martin is represented by kits 139181 and 167105. These testers descend from his sons Jonathan Martin and Thomas Terrill Martin. So William's sons Thomas and Jonathan are included in our Martin Family group at familytree.com. William is definitely a family member.

You have no Y-DNA from Robert.  You know that.  We just discussed it here for all to see.
Ok I honestly don't know where to take it from here. Years ago we agreed to disagree. I think we should just leave it at that.

I would continue to press for a valid source for your connection to Samuel. Witness on a deed does not count, DNA does. You have no wills nor any proof that I see. I know that the Joseph Martin and Ann Martin marriage is significant because it ties the 2 lines together.
When we signed the honor code, we agreed to cite sources.  I have done that.  Please do the same or back down from your unsourced claim.
I suggest we add a link to your Samuel profile for all to see.
Also that 286 acres is connected to 2 people.... bit of a conflict there.
We can't just "leave it at that" unless you disconnect the parents you currently have connected without a valid source to support the claim.  Are you willing to disconnect the parents and leave the profile without any?
Absolutely NOT!  I wish I could feel "anger" because that is a prerequisite for intervention. But I don't. After all these years I know you, and know, basically that you have worked for years to connect your Thomas line. I also understand that you did research in PA to gather in what you have presented.  However: There no substantial proof in your rambling research notes as posted on Samuel's profile: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Martin-77618

The evidence laid out there might seem rambling if you have trouble following it.  Which part is confusing you?

The fact is that the case made there trumps your unsourced claim by quite a bit.  You signed the honor code and must abide by the terms that come with it:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Uncertain_Parents

Specifically the references to William b 1762 that are made and connecting him in text as son on this profile. I have removed those 2 references 2 times and You have re-added them twice. (See changes) I disagree with your theory which lacks proof. In general the entire Samuel profile lacks proof. The best profile there is Job's. The PM did a good job.

I see you did a Strike through on the parents she had connected in sources, yet said Strike through with no proof. Why would you do that?

Of course he is, as explained in detail here.  That part has never been in doubt, has it?  Unfortunately, we have never found a direct male descendant of Robert Martin Sr. or Robert Jr. who has a Martin Y chromosome to compare against.  As previously stated in the comments on William's profile and elsewhere, multiple direct male descendants of Howlett Martin share the Y chromosome from this neighboring Moore family.  No other direct male descendants from any other line from either Robert has yet been found or tested.

I worked to add Howlett's descendants as has Brett. It is unfortunate that Brett's line had an NPE, but perhaps with the additional male descendants connected we can find another tester.

And, reminding you yet again that Thomas T  and Jonathan, sons of William do in fact match per Y DNA.
I believe there are three lines of descent from Howlett who have tested and all share the same Moore Y chromosome.  The crossover appears to have been Howlett himself or one of his direct male ancestors.
I agree and that's the reason we're looking beyond Howlett. His siblings have many male descendants.
