Hi Lance,
I don't think anything has changed here. The issue is that the Ancestry profile has no country specified for the birth or death:
BIRTH 6 APR 1916 • Ottumwa, Wapello, Iowa
DEATH 2 NOV 1980 • San Diego, San Diego, California
Ancestry itself doesn't record middle names, just forenames. So Sourcer has an option to treat all forenames other than the first name as middle names when adding a new WikiTree profile. But this is not desirable for many countries that do not have the concept of middle names. So it only does it for certain counties by default. Since there is no country specified for this Ancestry profile it doesn't do it.
See the Sourcer option under the Add/Merge tab:
"Separate forenames into a first name and middle names:"
You can set this to Always if you only work in countries that have middle names. Or you can add a country to the places in Ancestry.
