Three of my grandparents have intertwined roots for almost 2000 years.

Three of my grandparents are descendants of Of_Parthia-3 (AD 25 -78), as well as Ap_Calpurnius-1 (300-?).  The lineage of my paternal GM, Coe-2227; paternal GF, Barbour-1017; and maternal GM, Hoover-3274 results in many noted historical subjects being triple GGFs.  The two mentioned plus Charlemagne, and AEthered Wessex, 2nd King of England, for example.  From the Battle of Hastings, both William-1 and Harold Wessex.

Magna Carta - Of the 25 Barons, respectively 14 GGF/10 cousins; 16/8 and 1/23.

As to US Presidents, I (Kellogg-1557) a cousin to 34; paternal GM-33; paternal GF-32; and maternal GM-30.

This is mind boggling and too much to explore in a lifetime.

If it were not for the efforts of the WikiTree "accurate single family tree" creators and subsequent members, I doubt I would have ever found my early roots. (LOL)

A couple of things to keep in mind:

1. Please be very cautious about profiles like the first two that you mention. Wikitree is a long term project and not all information has been as carefully checked as we would eventually hope it to be.

2. Actually, once you have connections back to European nobility then your connections back to the furthest back profiles is virtually ensured. As you have noticed, these people were all relatives with inter-connected family trees. So for example a connection to Charlemagne is more common than a connection to a more recent king like King Edward III. (And everyone with a connection to Edward III will have many connections to Charlemagne.) Who are your most recent interesting ancestors?

Hello 9th cousin once removed.

Looks like you are also the 33rd great grandson of Charlemagne so here is the sticker I use if you want it on your profile.
