Maybe some of you remember the move Hidden Figures, which came out in 2016 as a story about a team of female African-American mathematicians who played a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. They were literally hired as "human computers". Dorothy McFadden Hoover, born in Hope, Arkansas, was one of these pioneers. She needs a profile along with others. If you are looking for an interesting story to dig into, look no further.
