Hello Dianne.
Back in time, in 2015 you had a different WikiTree account, that account is now closed.
The WikiTree ID you had was Scheid-74:
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Scheid-74
Public and Open profiles you added to WikiTree when using that account are now "orphaned" if you were the only Profile Manager in the profiles. For more information see
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Closing_an_Account#Other_profiles_you_are_managing
One of the (orphaned) profiles you created at that time is this:
Mary Christina (Powers) Scheid (1886-1948)
You can immediately be the profile's Profile Manager as soon as you click on the link "adopt this profile".
I hope this may be of help.
Great answer, Rubén, but there is one correction needed. Dianne will not be able to adopt profiles until she has made 100 WikiTree contributions. See this Help page section.
Thank you for responding. Yes I did click on “Orphaned families” and found so many that should not be Orphaned. Here is what I know. I started my “original” tree in 2015. I attached a lot of photos and spent many hours on building on it. A couple of years later my computer crashed and lost all of my passwords I was unable to access my Wiki tree or my email account because I could not remember my passwords. I tried to get some help from Wiki tree, but it only left me more frustrated. I created a new email address and started this tree I’m currently working on. It’s heart breaking to see so many of my family on the “Orphaned list” when they were on my “Original tree.” Jim, you claim I can’t claim MY orphaned family profiles till I have added 100 profiles. If I had my Original tree, there would not be an issue. So, why was my original tree canceled? I signed up for the marathon this weekend and was looking forward to adding NEW info to my tree. Unfortunately, I realize I need to re create profiles or find ones I’ve already created (they no longer have a profile manager) before I can add info that I have researched and collect the last few years. I have worked for almost 13 years on my Ancestry tree and have over 10 thousand on it. And I consider myself a novice at this ancestry stuff and still fumble around navigating Through Wiki tree. I love the idea of Wiki tree and what it promotes! I want to add and build to it! In addition, my Wiki ID on my original tree is not the same as it is now (292). I found out it was Scheid 74. Example: Mary Christina (Powers) Scheid 1886-1948. Is my Great grandmother. I created her profile back in 2015 on my original tree. I’m the one that attached the photos, yet it now say orphaned with no manager…. If you need more info or I can help you solve this issue, please let me know. Thank you for your patience and time. Sincerely, Dianne Sent from my iPhone

Scheid-292,
Your question on WikiTree G2G has been answered by Grozev-1:
Dianne, did you click on 'Orphaned Family' by any chance? Although if you go to that page, it will list a great number of profiles for your family, only the profiles which are highlighted are actually orphans.
Your question was:
My tree has been deemed orphaned. I want to claim my tree back! PLEASE HELP

Hi again Dianne. I can only guess, but in cases of long inactivity by a profile manager (which may have happened while you were locked out of your old account), the profiles they managed may sometimes be orphaned so that other people can more easily work on them. See this link.
You can edit profiles without adopting them. You only need another 47 edits to reach the threshold of 100. After that you will be able to adopt (if you haven't already: maybe the Help page I quoted was aspirational). Don't be discouraged and keep up your good work!
