"Where there's a will..."

A bundle of papers at the UK National Archives mentions that Simon Povey of Lower Brookhouse Farm, Marchington, Staffordshire (near Uttoxeter) left a will.  Probably around 1809, proved possibly in 1810.

Does anyone know how i could get a look at it?

A possible candidate for his father, also named [[Povey-546|Simon Povey (bef.1693-1743)]], also left a will, indexed, according to Ancestry, here:

Diocese of Lichfield and Coventry, England, Indexes of Wills and Probate, 1518-1858

Record details
Name Simon Povey
Record Type Will
Death Place Marchington, Staffordshire, England
Will Date 1743
Will Place England
Probate Year 1743
Probate Place England

Again, any ideas on how i can get a look at this will also?

It seems they're held at the Staffordshire Records Office, so you'd either need to visit in person or pay for them to be copied https://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/Heritage-and-archives/contact/sro/Copying-services.aspx

Edit: Or as Stephen's answer below - Find My Past

Wills proved at Lichfield are available on Find My Past. The index is free, but you need to pay (subscription or pay-per-view) to see the image.

I think you only see the image of the index though don't you? Not the actual will?
There is no will of Simon Povey 1743. Administration was granted at Uttoxeter on 19 October 1743 to his widow Jane. The inventory is dated 22 August 1743 and totals £200:5:6. https://search.findmypast.com/record?id=GBPRS%2FSTAFF%2F007623177%2F00265&parentid=GBPRS%2FSTAFF%2FWILLS%2F425286

Simon Povey 1810 was of Shaw House, Alton, not Lower Brookhouse Farm. https://search.findmypast.com/record?id=GBPRS%2FSTAFF%2F007623434%2F00556&parentid=GBPRS%2FSTAFF%2FWILLS%2F455440 - but he did leave Brookhouse, Marchington, which he sometime ago purchased of Isaac Hawkins Brown to his son Thomas Povey of Shaw House and his son-in-law Joseph Wright of Peakstone, Alton, in trust to sell and apply the proceeds to the purposes of his will.
Well, for some reason it's not letting me load those records.

Edit: Spelling
Bizarre! It's loading now. That doesn't come up on the normal search results. What did you search to get there?
Maybe just practice. I use the Lichfield records a lot.
It was the misspelt first name - it didn't show in name variations.
Symon / Simon?
No the 1743 administration is listed as Simons Povey for some reason. Edit: but now I can find it under Simon as well - weird.

Edit again. No the Index shows up under Simon, but the actual admin only under Simons - 2 different URLs.
