Civil War soldier profile.

I came across this profile while doing some categorization work. I believe the marker that is shown on FG is in the cemetery I categorized, but in reading the profile I believe he is buried elsewhere. He was killed in the US Civil War and I know there are folks out there that can do a much better job than me in working on his profile.

FYI per the history of regimen see Category: 6th Regiment, Iowa Infantry, United States Civil War

301 were wounded in action which was the largest list of casualties of both officers and men, of any regiment from Iowa. Was mustered out at Louisville, KY July 21, 1865.”

You are correct here is his FindAGrave memorial at Chattanooga National Cemetery Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee, USA

He has an interesting story to be told

I added links to his burial at the Chattanooga National Cemetery and to his 1860 census in the sources.  Not much out there on his young man that I could find.
