Lieutenant John Edward Brodhurst (sometimes spelled Broadhurst) was in Australia from November 1852, arriving on the HMS Vulcan.  He was definitely there during the Eureka incident (see his profile).  He was said to be in Aldershot in 1859 as captain of the 4th Dragoon guards.

Can anyone find evidence of his passage back to England?

Thanks so much, and Happy New Year everyone!
