Ashcraft Roach was a widower a second time by 1810 . The 1810 census shows him living alone in Amherst County with five slaves. Living on adjoining property was his sons George Roach and William Roach.

From this it appears that Ashcraft Roach had sons, Cornelius, George, Henry, John, Charles and William and that his daughters married Richard Burks, Benjamin Kelley and Daniel Peyton. The marriages of his son Henry and of several other children are preserved in the Amherst County records:
William Roach, bachelor, and Obedience Burks, spinster, 20 October 1793. David Burks, Jr. surety. Consent of her father, David Burks. Certificate of marriage by Rev. William Dameron, 20 October 1793.

Daniel Peyton (or Payton) and Nancy Roch (Roach, spinster, 4 August 1784. * Philip Thurmond, surety. Consent of his father, Philip Payton. Consent of her father, Ashcraft Roach. (ibid pg 61)
*this may be incorrect as it apprears Daniel Peyton first married Nancy Roach in 4 August 1784 and he also married Mary Roach the following, year , 24 August 1785. No mention is made about the death of Nancy Roch before marriage to Mary Roach. Further research is required)
