Why is the surname Haymans not listed in the list of related surnames under HAYMAN Genealogy?

Hello,

Before my Great Grandfather, William Zacharius Haymans  (He went by Zack also) eventually changed the Haymans to just Hayman, it had previously always been Haymans (the "s" was not pronounced).  This is a family fact, I don't have any authenticity to it besides that, but we in my family all know it to be true.  So I'm curious why there isn't also a Haymans listed when there's all other kinds of surnames (i.e. Heymans, Hyman, etc...).
