How to handle errors in existing relationships?

Hello,

This profile is Anna Clara Kuhn's. It shows that she was married to Agidius Gillet and they had 4 children (named Gillet as well).

However, it also mentions that, in between the Gillet children, she had a child with Johann Clauss, who recognized him and emigrated to the USA 3 years after without Anna Clara Kuhn.

It seems quite improbable that this Anna Clara Kuhn is the same person, rather that both profiles have been incorrectly merged. I cannot access the ancestry sources, but the website source certainly doesn't suggest that she is (it even gives a different middle name for her).

What is your opinion on this?

How should such a case be treated? Create a different profile and assign it as the mother of Johann Clauss Jr?

Thanks

I believe you are right and someone has attached the wrong mother to Johann Georg Clauss.

I am definitely not an expert on this time and places, but I believe his mother is supposed to be Maria Christina Kuhn (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/64569078/maria-christina-colver).

I'd appreciate a second look before relationships are edited.
