"Add Spouse" button triggers a message asking to confirm that I want to exit the page [closed]

This has happened to me twice in the last couple of days. I think it's  a bug.

On both occasions, I opened the page to add a spouse to an existing profile, inserted the ID# in the box marked "Go" at the top of the page, then scrolled down to the bottom of the page to see what relatives' profiles might be affected, and clicked on the "Add Spouse" button at the bottom. Instead of seeing the usual indications of an ongoing or completed WikiTree edit process, I got a popup message box (browser-generated by Firefox) asking me to confirm that I wanted to exit the page.

The first time that happened I hit "Cancel," after which the page got hung up in an endless "save" process -- I couldn't exit the page except by closing the tab, and the "Add Spouse" action never "took." (I later added that spouse by opening a new Add Spouse and clicking the Go button on the top.)

The second time, I confirmed the page exit, and the Add Spouse function was completed properly.

This is new behavior for the Add Spouse process, but it's similar to what happened after page-saving was first modified several months back.

Do you have uncommitted drafts? I usually have a banner at the marriage editing page when I have an uncommitted draft about one of the spouses.

Nothing to do with uncommitted drafts. I am familiar with the banner that you describe. It can be annoying, because it means I need to go back and save the profile before editing the family connections, but I know how to deal with it, and it behaves as designed.

Have you installed the new WikiTree Browser Extension? There is a report of a similar-sounding issue, also in Firefox, at https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1490020/have-you-seen-the-wikitree-browser-extension?show=1490280#a1490280. It sounds like that issue is being investigated, so hopefully if it's basically the same bug they will be fixed at the same time.

Yes, I now think this probably has to do with the new browser extension that I installed. I saw that post late last evening.
