I need help understanding a record

I'm researching the father (Family Search ID GCNT-YT8) of John Francis Lee, Jr. and FamilySearch is suggesting this record: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2M2Q-Q45?treeref=GCNT-YT8

I'm inclined to think this doesn't apply to his father, because his father was born in 1862, but I don't understand the record well enough to know for sure.

I know that the Corps D-Afrique were colored Union troops organized in Louisiana, and the Lees were from Virginia, but stranger things can happen. Also, the Corps was organized in 1864, so he would have only been two years old.

What I don't know is if this outfit survived the war and existed later in time, when he might have been able to serve.

Anyone with knowledge of these types of records is encouraged to speak up. I don't want to exclude the record without understaning what it means better than I do now.

The father, John F Lee was still alive in 1910 and was listed as a widower. This pension card indicates payment to a wife, Katie Lee in Texas. Doesn't match up in my opinion.

Thanks. I'd have to agree with you.
