I've just completed an overhaul of a profile for the daughter of Sir John A. MacDonald, Canada's first Prime Minister. For a women who could barely talk and lived most of her life in a wheelchair, she lived a remarkable life spanning two continents. She lived with an illness (Hydrocephalus) which was untreatable in those days to the remarkable age of 63.
I'm lacking records on this one, and I think it has to do with her name being very common (and she had 3 first names) She most commonly went by Mary MacDonald. Can anyone add any records to this, particularly census records?
