My family tree is at <https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/portrait/G4PQ-PN2>.
I am very interested in resolving several inconsistencies I've noticed in the various trees I have seen. Specifically, was James Burns 1741 born in Scotland or Ireland? What route did he take prior to his arrival in Greenbrier County (W)V? Or was it Augusta County at the time? Did he have 1 or 3 children? Was he a colonial soldier that was discharged prior to the Fort Donnally attack in which he was killed?
