Should the wife and child be unattached for William Hall (1780:Yorkshire, England)?

Hey Everyone,

I was adding sources to William Hall's profile and I noticed a wife and child from Kentucky had been added. I am hoping someone can prove or disprove those connections.

I looked for evidence of him in Pickering/Yorkshire and could not find anything after his birth but I couldn't find any American records either.

P.S. There is a second William Hall born in the same places three years later to totally different parents

Im not sure if this is the same guy. Found a William son of james, 1780 Pickering Then a marriage 1818 Pickering to Rachel Clifford  on Findmypast. So maybe you can check those records. Good luck
