Neither Find A Grave nor the Wikitree profile have good sources as to the parentage of Greenberry Carter Wallen 1811-1891 but they disagree.
Can you help solve this dispute?

The two seem to agree on the mother being Lucy Carter. They disagree on the father.
A Y DNA test by a descendant would help show where this person might intersect with the Wallen family.
