I have a conflict with the stated father, William Rice born 1764 in Frederick MD.  The reference to his parents as William Millard Rice and Anna Catarina, from here it gets confusing.

William Millard Rice and Anna Catarina did have a son Named William Rice and he was born 1864.  I have a book about William Millard Rice that lists his children:

James, 1758
Elizabeth, 1760
William, Jr. 1764
Rebeca, 1766
Perry G., 1767
John, 1770
George, 1774
Thomas, 1776
Ann, 1779

Stephen Dillard Rice Rice-2051 Correct parents are

William RICE BIRTH 1752 • Cameron Parish, Loudon County, VA, USA DEATH 1816 • Claiborne County, Tennessee, USA

Mary Owsley BIRTH ABT. 1756 • Loudoun County, Virginia, USA DEATH 1830 • Claiborne, Tennessee, United States

Mary married William Rice Bet. 1772 - 1782 in probably in Loudon County, VA. He was born Abt. 1752, and died Abt. 1816 Mary Owsley (1756–1830)

I have contacted Profile managerLisa Evitt  more then once without any replies.

I can send a copy of the book, I want to get this correct.

That PM has not been active since 2016. Use the Unresponsive Profile Manager process by sending 3 messages, incl sending trusted list request for that profile from the Privacy tab, send a message to the pm from that profile. As well as leave a comment on the PM profile. In a week, if you get no response, then file the UPM request form, stating whether you want the one profile orphaned or others.  When they don't respond to admin, you will be notified that it has been orphaned.

The profile is open for editing, do you can make the changes. Just make sure you include information about the source and be sure it is reliable. It is always a good idea to find other sources for the information being changed.

There are 2 sons William, son of William, born 1764, so there is wrong parents for one of those, which could explain other conflation that has been done. It looks like a merge was done for William Rice-2056, b 1734, so that could be when the problems occurred.  Robin left a message on that profile, so I would agree that changes should be made to the profiles, just include citation about the book being referenced and include other sources.

When links are included for ancestry, it is helpful if they are shared image links, so others can see them.
