Looking for information on Dr. Charles M Moody born 1819 possibly Oglethorpe county Ga. Moved to Talbot county Ga, married Eliza G Birch. Died in Talbot county GA 1894.
He is NOT the son of Benjamin and Martha Smith. However, Martha was living with his family during the 1860 census. Trying to find how he is connected to the family and who his parents were.
Wanted to add that there is a Charles M Smith in Oglethorpe county Georgia that was on a guardian bond in 1841 with Martha Smith in regards to the 4 children Benjamin, Susan, Sarah, and Thomas that were orphans of the deceased (even thought she was the mother) Benjamin Smith. I can't find any information on this Charles and wonder if the Charles Martha is living with in 1860 is his son?
