In cases like this, where the reference is a specific line in the probate records I would give the citation for the record and then quote the actual line verbatim, something like:
Vermont. Probate Court, Windsor, Vermont; Jabez Hammond Estate, Summary Administrator Account, April 10, 1843. "Paid widow of said deceased,, as by agreement, in lieu of dower and assignment..."
