I am unable to load a photo image file - when I click on choose file nothing happens

Are you certain it is an image file?  Where are you trying to upload it?  Are you getting an error message, or is nothing at all happening?

I have jpeg images in a folder on my hard drive on my MacBook Pro. When I click on choose file nothing happens so I don’t even have the opportunity to go to my desktop.

I imagine there is a simple solution but …

Have you tried uploading to another site?  (Such as https://postimages.org/ )

Hello Melanie, Thanks for your suggestions, I could upload to another site as you suggested.  Must have been an issue with my Macbook because it was resolved after a restart!!

I am so glad the issue is resolved for you!  
(The moment I read "Macbook" my heart sank, as I have no experience with those, no matter how "good" I am with other image issues, and I was wondering who I could ask who might know.)
