I have adopted this profile as it was linked as a son to my 6GGF Andrew Scott Scott-382
However I have doubts that the person who died in Rowan, NC is the same person. Particularly the will mentions children James, Mary and John. Son Thomas has a profile created as Thomas John Scott Scott-45776 but baptism has no middle name. Also I can find no baptism record for Mary.
The marriage record cited in the profile as I found it is problematic.
I strongly suspect this profile is a comingling of 2 people. Can anyone give any possible clues to the birth of the John Scott who made the will at Rowan NC in 1760
