How to verify children that have only a bible death index card

For Cannon-1970 (1809-1865), besides the six children that I can verify, there are 5 additional children that I know nothing about.  They have only 1 source - a FS Death index card.  Eg: "Delaware Vital Records, 1650-1974," database with images, FamilySearch(https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:2:Q288-S3BJ : 16 April 2022), Entry for Charles Franklin Cannon, 1853; citing Death, Delaware, United States, Delaware Public Archives, Dover; FHL microfilm .  Are these children that died in infancy?  I checked census records? How can I find a birth record for them?

The cards have a reference, or citation. Perhaps contacting the Delaware Archives would help in finding the original source for the index card. In this case it is volume 87A, #251.

I'm not familiar with this source (and hopefully others are and can be more helpful to you). But I note that FamilySearch is citing the Delaware Public Archives, and the card lists a volume and number. Do you have a copy of the original source this is an index to?

It is my impression the the image of the index card is what is in the Delaware Public Archive.  I went back and there is some additional information about the original document: Death and Burial Index, c 1700-1960, Bracken - Clynch with folder number and image number.  I will try to investigate that further

A partial index of the archive is here: https://archives.delaware.gov/collections-gateway/the-bible-records-collection/  This index doesn't list your family's bible (for some reason this index has just a few records in it), but I imagine that if you write to them (email address in that site) they can tell you if they have it.

Note: these records (Vol 87A) appear to be a different set than the ones called Bible Folders, which are comingled in the card index you found. Images from the folders are in familysearch. But the Vol 87A records appear not to be, but rather are to be found in the aforementioned state archive.
