What does WH mean Families of Ancient New Haven?

In Families of Ancient New Haven, Vol 7, page 1619, it says
Smith. Fam. 1. George, of WH, d 17 May 1662, NHV
I assume NHV is New Haven Vital records, but what does WH represent? George of WH?

There is a section at the beginning of volume 1 that explains the abbreviations.

West Haven. In his day, it was the west farms of New Haven (to the west of the West River, as in the text of his profile). In 1717 it was set off as a separate parish of New Haven, in 1822 it was incorporated as part of the Town of Orange, and in 1921 it was set off from Orange as the Town of West Haven.

Addendum: calling him "of West Haven", as appears in the profile, is an anachronism. His inventory, for instance, refers to him as George Smith of New Haven. Nobody was "of West Haven" until much later.

More specifically the use of WHT1 in the profile refers to burials in the West Haven Congregational Cemetery. It was Jacobus' way to designate the death record came from a tombstone.
