How can profile managers be notified before major changes are made to profiles and merge requests are made.

I have profiles that are edited that have major changes and wander if it is still no policy to consult with profile manager.  I has disrupted and entire ancestral.  In addition merges that are said to be clear duplicates, seemingly, are not compared and in my case have not been clear duplicates.

All Profile Managers of a profile get an email notification of any proposed merges with that profile. The Profile Manager(s) and others on the Trusted List have 30 days after a merge is proposed to accept or reject the proposed merge before anyone else can consummate the merge.

In the case of other undesirable major changes to the profile, the remedy is to restore the profile to its prior state through the Changes page, which is easy to do.

I ran into a problem of a person who deleted the work of the profile manager, etal, wrote it over in a new format and added sources that were not connected to the information given--i.i. to birth/date, marriage, etc within the body of the line biography used.  Try to restore and could not get it done because the one before hers had been deleted and would not restore back beyond it.  She is new and has done this to a whole family and is probably approved for 1700 profiles.
