Searching for a second son of Matsson-726. Based on 70+ year old hand-written narrative by Tapio-54, that additional son's name was Abraham, who was the older brother of Tapio-62.

Abraham may have been born on 7 Jan 1830 in Finland and died 1 Marraskuuta 1901.

Hi Sandra, I think you may have some individuals mixed up. You mention Abraham as the possible second son of Matsson-726. You then indicated that Abraham may have been born in 1830, but that would mean he could not be Matsson-726's son, as William Mattson was born in 1876 according to the linked profile.

Also, you mentioned Finland, but William Mattson was born and lived in Wisconsin according to all of the profile information, and his parents were born in Norway. Where does Finland come into the picture?

If you can help clarify the people involved, and more specifically what it is you are looking for, then I will be happy to take another look.

After looking a little closer, it looks like the linked profile is Mattson-726 (double t), but you meant to reference Matsson-726 (double s).
According to this household record Johan Tapio and Maria did have a son named Abraham who was born in 1830 in Säkkijärvi Finland and was the older brother of Henrick who was born in 1834.

Here is another source (the children's church records, "lastenkirja") that confirms the July rather than Jan birthdate for Abram and also the association with Johan's first wife Maria Steffansdotter:

Look like there are two more older siblings including the Margaretha listed in the source Eric sent. And two younger siblings that died (?) very young, at least that's how I interpret those dates, although the annotation is a little weird (I was expecting "död" not what looks like "dog).
Yes, I apologize for my mistake in naming Mattson-726.
Thank you so much for this. Yes! that's our missing link!!!
Yes, that's exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much!!
