Why do I get additional Source Numbers that don't have anything attached?

Help! Every time I add an inline source, I get additional numbers below the sources that have nothing attached. Example: I'll have two sources named #1 and #2. Then below those there will be numbers #3 and #4 side by side with no sources. I'm sure this is an easy fix, but I could use a pointer. I have linked a cousin below so you can see what I am trying to explain.

Do not use the < ref > tag under the Sources references, only use that for sources you want to cite inline in the biography.

I the case of James, you already have his marriage and grave sources in the biography, and don't need to repeat them below the Sources.

Hope this just made your life a bit easier!

I'm so confused. I thought you put the sources in the sources area first and then copied the source to the line in the biography it referenced. Am I incorrect?

BTW, as {{Indiana Sticker}} is a Sticker, it should go below the ==Biography== heading.

You can EITHER put sources in the sources area OR put them inline in the biography.

The Sources Help says "There are two ways to add your sources." https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources

So you are making extra work for yourself.
