Sticker changes subject name

Question

On the profile of https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hagen-1568 there are two stickers. After a child https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hagen-2193 was added both stickers now display the name of the child.

Maria Johanna Hagen is a Military Veteran.
Served in the British 1st Battalion, 60th Regiment 1810-1817
Served in the Cape Colony, 4th Xhosa War

Maria Johanna Hagen is genealogies verbind aan Suid Afrika /is genealogically connected to South Africa

This is a known issue.  Make another edit to the profile, or just wait it out.  It usually fixes itself after about 30 minutes or so.

I suppose you will just have to put up with these type of posts in perpetuity until the cause is properly addressed

It's obviously a bug in the method that fetches the name associated with the sticker.

Most of those who add stickers have seen it happen, and are aware of the problem. But as it soon corrects itself, it's really of minor importance.

Louis - I know that post doesn't explain the why, but it shows it has been an issue for some years.  Obviously, as it "fixes" itself, and isn't breaking anything, it is of low importance.  Probably it will be looked into at some time when it relates to something else that is getting fixed.

Since it fixes itself, and is some sort of MediaWiki issue, we don't have any current plans to fix it.
