Shared Photo: The Stein family, Vienna 1938

This lovely and poignant picture of three Stein siblings and their spouses was given to me by my ex mother-in-law, the little girl in front. Many in the Stein family were murdered in the Holocaust but this group survived. One couple lived in Chicago. They never had children but they took in two nephews escaping Europe. One couple went to New York City. They never had children. The third couple had one child, who you see here.

I wanted to share this family photo of Bianka Ehrlich with the community. Location: Vienna, Austria. Date: 1938.
