Robert Parr Born 1549 in Eccles Lancashire England. On many family trees especially in the USA his parents are listed as William Earl of Essex and Elizabeth Brookes of Cobham in Kent. This cannot be the case since according to 'Burkes Peerage' this union did not have any children and as such Williams peerage was defunct. Does anybody have any evidence to the contrary.
