Over 20 years ago J. W. Neff posted excellent  research on the Stump and Neff Listservs of Rootsweb, which can not be found on the current form of Rootsweb.  Does anyone know  where  the research of J. W. Neff may be found?  Thank you.

FamilySearch has two works by J. W. Neff in their catalog. This first one is available to view:

https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/2039423?availability=Logan%20Utah%20FamilySearch%20Library

https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/2405071?availability=Preston%20Idaho%20Family%20History%20Center

I recommend to everyone to use the FamilySearch catalog more often because you never what kinds of papers and pamphlets they might have in addition to books.

Being a Neff who did do some minor research on rootsweb back in the day, I had to check this out. However it looks like it's not at all related to my Neff family.

But - my maternal line comes from Hardy County, and we have Beans who lived at Bean Settlement, WV, so we might be connected on that side!
