Advice before editing this pre-1700 Anderson profile?

Question

I have information to contribute to the profile of Henry Anderson. This is what I can add:

• I believe the African-American Sticker has been added in error and should be removed.

These are the sources I am using: I am unable to find any sources to indicate that he his African-American.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

I removed the African American sticker from the profile. Sometimes  members who get enthusiastic about contributing to USBH  mistakenly add inappropriate categories and stickers to profiles of white slaveholders.
