Can anyone help me verify the maiden name for Julian (J.A.E.) Duncan?

All family history that has been provided to me says that her maiden name was Sallie Bly, but I have not been able to find this name in connection to the Duncan family, so I question if Julian & Sallie are in fact the same person.

In the 1850 census, living next door to Julian Duncan is Cunningham Blythe, and he has a daughter in his household named Sarah Blythe.  This could be your Sallie.  I wonder if they were sisters, and Cunningham was Julian's father as well.
