How do I get WikiTree to recognize that I am the descendant of my Grt Grandfather's 2nd wife, not his first

Whenever I check on degrees of separation, I find that Wiki Tree has related me to My Great Grandfather's first wife, but I'm not related to her.  Is there any way to change that?

Hi Margaret,

The degrees of separation app doesn't take into account whether you are related or not. It only shows "connections".

To add to what Tommy said, that's why WikiTree has a Connection Finder and a separate Relationship Finder

Yes, you are connected to your great-grandfather's first wife (because of the relationship he has to her). But you are not related to your great-grandfather's first wife. There is a difference between how we use those two words here on WikiTree.

Click the little X in the left hand corner of her 'connection', and she will be removed.
