Pieter Klazes van der Velde, aged 60 years, agricultural farmer by profession, born under Nes and living under Wierum, widower of Aaltje Idses and now remarried to Adriaantje Roelofs de Lange, son of the late Klaas Pieters (fisherman when alive) and the late Beitske Aarnts, spouses living under Nes. The death was reported by neighbours (not family).
Pieter Klazes van der Velde married Adriaantje Roelofs de Lange in 1817. Parents are stated as being Klaas Pieters and Beitske Arends, both deceased. The marriage addenda include his birth record stating that Pieter was born on 19 January 1766 in Nes as the son of Claas Pieter. They also include a deed of notoriety stating they it is known that Klaas Pieters died about 19 years ago (abt.1798) and his wife Beitske Arend some 45 !! years ago (1772).
Pieter was baptized on 19 January 1766 in Nes as the son of Claas Pieters. I can not find any other baptisms with Claas/Klaas Pieters as the father.
I can only find one Beitske Arends, baptized on 15 October 1724 in Nes as the daughter of Aant Beens. She seems to have married one Klaas Luchiens on 1 January 1749. Maybe an earlier husband?
