If you think your grandmother had this same name and was part of the same family, it is possible that the parents gave the same name to two daughters. This sometimes happened when a child died at a young age.

Looks like your family branches could use further research and better sources. You might want to edit this post and add location tags. That will get the attention of members with experience in those areas.

Good luck with your research.

Hello Brian, hope you are well. I am not sure if this helps and/or you may already be aware - my grandmother Mary Katherine Hatton (married name was Rooney) was the sister of Hannah Theresa Hatton. I was recently talking about that part of my family to my mum (the daughter of Mary Rooney (nee Hatton). My mum certainly has a lot insight into re her mothers family and in fact told me only recently about how little Hannah died. In fact you may already know my mother but if not and there anything I can do to help you? Do let me know. Kind regards, Colette
